Ambrotype Baby in Carriage Stroller 3x3.5\" Case Taped Hinge Victorian` For Sale

Cased portrait of an adorable **baby** in a long white gown, seated in a dark high-backed **wicker carriage / stroller** with a large spoked wheel visible. Soft, luminous look behind glass.

**Process:** Magnet does **not** stick — consistent with an **ambrotype** on glass (not a tintype). Set behind an ornate gold brass **oval mat** with embossed scrollwork. Opposite half lined with embossed **apricot / rust-orange velvet**.

**Case:** Approx. **3" × 3 1/2"** closed. Dark embossed leatherette over board with floral basket / urn and scroll design on both covers. Original hinge failed; someone repaired the spine with **vinyl / cloth-style tape** — still a bit **loose**. **Chips** and edge wear where the dark covering has worn through to lighter board at corners. Brass latch parts present. Case opens and displays the image well despite the repair.
