Ant-Trax Ant Bait, manufactured by Solutions Pest & Lawn, is an effective sweet gel bait that controls multiple ant species, including Argentine ants, Pharaoh ants, and little black ants. This ant bait contains an attractant and the insecticide imidacloprid 0.01%, which mimics nicotine and disrupts the ants\' nervous systems. Rather than killing ants instantly, Ant-Trax takes advantage of the ants’ “food exchange.” Foraging ants carry the bait back to the colony, sharing it with the queen and other members. This process ensures the poison spreads, resulting in widespread colony control within hours. Ant-Trax can be applied as a spot treatment or crack and crevice treatment both indoors and outdoors. It comes in a bait injector tube for easy application. Its concentrated formula makes it economical, as only a small amount is needed. How to Use

Step 1: Locate ant trails or entry points, and clean all areas to be treated. Remove secondary food and water sources, such as crumbs, pet food, or water bowls. Sweep and vacuum floors, then wipe surfaces with warm water. Avoid cleaners or detergents, as they may deter ants from the bait.

Step 2: Unscrew the reservoir cap of the Ant-Trax syringe and attach the applicator tip.

Step 3: Push the gel through the syringe and apply in small pea-size drops using the plunger—approximately 4 drops or 0.006 oz per square yard. Focus on areas of ant activity and common entry points, such as baseboards, under sinks, around water pipes, kitchen backsplash, window or door crevices, or voids. In food or feed-handling areas, limit application to cracks and crevices only.

Step 4: Leave the bait undisturbed. Do not spray ant trails with pesticides or disturb foraging ants, as this can disrupt pheromones and reduce effectiveness.

Ant-Trax Ant Bait can be used in and around residential, commercial, and industrial structures, including warehouses, motels, hotels, apartments, schools, homes, offices, aircraft, ships, and trains. In food or feed-handling establishments, do not apply to surfaces where food or feed is prepared or handled. Avoid areas recently treated with other insecticides and areas accessible to children or pets.

When to Use:

Use Ant-Trax as needed when ant activity is observed. It is most effective on active infestations and is not recommended for preventative control. Check placements every 2 weeks and replenish or clean as necessary.
