This scarce limited edition biography was written to provide the citizens of Chester County, Pennsylvania, a concise historical portrait of General “Mad Anthony” Wayne. Condition:
Very good condition for a 1936 hardcover. Original cloth binding intact and solid. Moderate age toning and natural patina to covers. Minor surface wear and faint marks to front cover, including a small stain near the bottom edge and a small mark near the upper left. Rear cover shows light wear and a small hole/indent in the cloth near the spine. Spine and binding remain tight and structurally sound with light edge wear at head and tail. Pencil notation present on the inside front cover; some light erased marks visible. Interior pages are clean with no writing, underlining, tears, or dog-ears. Overall a well-preserved example with honest vintage wear.
