This is a stunning, authentic Chinese hand-embroidered silk textile panel. This piece is a preserved sleeve band (xiuquan) salvaged from a traditional late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) or early Republic era ladies\' robe. The central field features a vibrant pink silk satin base beautifully embroidered with auspicious orchids, trailing vines, chrysanthemums, and butterflies utilizing meticulous satin and stem stitches. The textile is elegantly flanked by a woven cream and blue patterned brocade border band.
The piece is exquisitely double matted and presented under glass in a heavy, highly stylized mid-century gold/gilt faux-bamboo wooden frame. The back retains its original, vintage 1970s marbled dust cover and professional framer\'s stamp from the \"Memorial Picture Framing Shop\" on Memorial Drive in Houston, Tx. This structural combination yields a quintessential Hollywood Regency/Chinoiserie chic wall display.

The embroidery remains incredibly vibrant and structurally sound with excellent retention of the silk thread luster. In good antique/vintage condition overall. As visible in the detailed close-up photographs, there are isolated spots of localized brown discoloration (foxing/age-patina) on the cream woven border. The frame remains sturdy and structurally intact with minor age-appropriate surface wear to the gilt finish. The back dust paper has minor scuffs and a small tear.
