This is very large and very beautiful 15th century 1400s storage jar. It came from a private museum collection that was liquidating everything. I found a very similar one on display at the museum and it’s exact purposes unknown, but it is most likely from Thailand. Very expertly crafted with beautiful carved designs under the glazing. This one is in very good condition considering its age. Has one small imperfection I have shown it in the photos. Take a look at all the photos to see general condition and dimensions. Although this is very large, it is very light for its size.
