Stunning matched pair of early Pricket style candlesticks. This pair dates to the 19th century, possibly dipping into the last quarter of the 18th.
Bronze with long slender baluster stems, these candlesticks have great design appeal. The stems are hand peened to the bases, and they feature removable bobeches, around the hand filed pricket spikes.
This pair has a truly stunning surface, with a wonderful dark patina throughout.
Measures 14” tall
