Original 1793 English land document written on vellum (animal skin), a common format for legal agreements of this era. This is a \"lease for a year\" indenture involving land in Gloucestershire, England, between sellers Joseph Pitt, Robert and William Groome and buyer Mr. John Brown.
Four original red wax seals are intact. The document has an official Georgian era GR crowned revenue stamp confirming it was properly duty stamped at the time of signing. Multiple original signatures present including two witnesses.
Written by hand throughout in 18th century script with a decorative double red ruled border. Some age toning and fold lines as expected for a 230 year old document. All text remains legible and all seals are intact.
