1853 publication from Philadelphia. First several pages are wrinkled/torn so the publisher is hard to make out but it is J. B. Lippincott & Co. Aside from the first several pages, the rest are not wrinkled and are legible. As seen. Spine shows some wear so book either needs repair and/or to be handled with care. This was a family bible — locks of hair from haircuts are tucked in between pages, alongside a newspaper clipping and on one page some dried plant matter. Towards the back the family lineage is detailed.
