A beautiful lot of early American history and ephemera.
Includes:
1. \"Later Years\" by William Cowper Prime (1854, Harper & Brothers) - True first edition of early Victorian outdoor/fishing essays. Binding is sturdy, but includes heavy ink transfer on flyleafs and a water ring on the title page.
2. \"Washington Standard Guide\" (c. 1909, Foster & Reynolds) - Antique travel paperback featuring a great handwritten 1909 Taft-era note inside. Incredibly rare because the massive, full-color fold-out map of Washington D.C. is completely intact and beautifully preserved.
3. Antique Cabinet Card Photograph (c. 1900) - Oval-embossed formal portrait of a young boy in an Eton collar and silk bow. High contrast, great condition.
