Antique Victorian pewter ½-pint tankard dated 1857. Features an ornate scrolling handle, footed base, engraved script monogram, and an extensive hand-engraved inscription on the underside that includes the date 1857.
Marked “½ PINT” near the handle. An additional small touchmark/maker’s mark is present but has not been positively identified.
The pewter has substantial authentic age-related patina, surface scratching, oxidation, rubbing and discoloration. Interior shows use wear and scratching. Engraving has some fading but remains visible. Please review photos closely.
