Up for sale is an original vintage/antique 1878 Gems of American Scenery, The White Mountains stereoscopic views book. This is an original and tough version to find with a green cover. Published by Haruuon and Bierstadt in 1897. Hardbound book has 100 pages and 24 stereo views. Also has a map of the White Mountains. Comes with the glasses that are attached to the inner cover. In nice condition for its age. Small tear on the first blank page. No other tears. Some foxing on the first couple pages. No separated pages, no torn out pages, side binding is nice, no fading, no writing in the book, cover has some edge and corner wear from age and no odors. Measures approx. 8" by 5 1/2". Being sold as found and as seen in the photos. Glare spots are from the lights reflection and not on the actual item. Rare item and is a must for any collector.
