Fantastic Primitive Industrial Display Piece.
Antique 1880s / 1890s Rumsey & Co. \"Patent Aquapult\" or Figure 269 Bilge Pump / Manual Hand Water Pump. D-Handle top, Bulbous Air Chamber with an Embossed Eagle, Foot Stirrup held the unit firmly inside a bucket, barrel or ship bilge while they pumped with their hands.
This piece is in Excellent Condition. The wood handle is solid and the brass pump moves freely as it should. It would not surprise me if this antique pump worked as it did 140 years ago.
This item weighs 8.5 pounds and will be shipped in a butcher paper wrapped corrugated cardboard box with tracking and insurance to insure a safe delivery.
