Beautifully decorated in the Famille Rose palette, it features intricate hand-painted floral bouquets, trailing vines, and an elaborate underglaze cobalt blue border with gilt accents. Notably, the exterior showcases a hand-painted European armorial crest or coat-of-arms featuring a sitting hound/dog next to a shield with stars.
Condition Note / Repair:
Please inspect all photos closely. This 200+ year old bowl has visible damage, including an old stapleless professional or amateur glue repair/fill on the top rim band. The underside of the base also features a stable, prominent Y-shaped hairline star crack that runs through the bottom, though the bowl remains structurally intact for display.
