Up for sale is a rare, authentic antique copy of Peter Rabbit's Christmas by Duff Graham, published by the Henry Altemus Company as part of their famous Wee Books for Wee Folks / Peter Rabbit Series. This highly collectible volume features beautiful, vibrant early 20th-century color plates illustrating a classic holiday adventure. Regarding the condition, please note that the book is in heavily worn, distressed shape and is being sold strictly as-is for a restoration project, parts, or as a reading/filler copy. The front cover paste-on illustration is entirely missing, leaving a blank purple space on the front board, and there is significant shelf wear, staining, and aging to the exterior cloth covers and spine. Internally, the binding has completely failed, leaving the pages entirely loose, detached, and separated from the main spine structure. The pages exhibit typical antique age-toning, handling smudges, and spot foxing throughout, and the vintage "This Book Belongs To" page has an early owner's name written in fountain pen ink.
