An elegant 19th Century Chinese Export Imari porcelain dessert service comprising six matching covered bowls with six matching saucers
Each piece is finely hand-painted in the traditional Imari palette featuring vibrant iron-red floral decoration, cobalt blue details, delicate gilt highlights, and geometric border patterns. The set displays the refined quality associated with Chinese Export porcelain produced for the Western market during the 19th century.
The matching covered bowls (often referred to as tea bowls, rice bowls or dessert bowls) retain all six original lids, making this an increasingly difficult set to find complete.
