Antique 19thC W Adams Fairy Villas Flow Blue 12\" Chop Plate Platter For Sale

Up for sale is a beautiful, highly scarce 12-inch round oversized serving piece by William Adams & Co. in the coveted \"Fairy Villas\" transferware pattern. Finding original 12-inch round chop plates/serving bowls in this specific pattern is increasingly difficult, as most surviving pieces are standard 7-to-10 inch lunch and dinner plates.

This piece displays the classic, deep cobalt bleed that makes antique Flow Blue so deeply desired by collectors. It is an exceptional decorative statement piece for a china cabinet, wall display, or holiday table centerpiece.

• Structural Integrity: Excellent antique structural condition. There are no cracks, structural hairlines, or chips along the front face or outer rim.

• Glaze & Surface: Shows beautiful, honest age-appropriate glaze crazing throughout, confirming its 19th-century authenticity.

• Staining/Wear: The front face remains bright and highly presentable for display. The underside/back of the platter shows significant antique browning, tea-staining, and darkened crazing localized to the central well ring, as is typical for porous 19th-century earthenware that saw actual household use.
