Antique 830S Silver David Andersen Engraved Serving Spoon Rococo-Revival Norway For Sale

I am selling a very neat antique 830s silver personalized serving spoon made by the world-famous Norwegian silversmith David Andersen. This piece is crafted with a unique Rococo-Revival/Art Noveau style pattern that was popular between the 1880\'s and 1920\'s. This spoon was likely a customized commissioned gift, likely for a life milestone such as a christening/baptism or wedding perhaps. The front of the spoon handle is engraved \"Louise\" in a very elegant Victorian cursive font, and the back of the spoon is engraved \"Fra Bedstemor\" meaning \'From Grandmother\' in Danish/Norwegian.This spoon is a larger tablespoon or smaller serving spoon size measuring almost 8 inches long, and weighing 47.2 grams. It does have some minor surface wear, scratches and tarnish and would certainly benefit from a proper cleaning and polishing to restore its silver beauty and detail.
