Up for sale is a stunning 19th / early 20th century Victorian dark cobalt blue jasperware cheese keeper and matching underplate dish, made in Tunstall, Staffordshire, England (William Adams & Sons).
This piece features rich white bas-relief appliqué scenes depicting a classic English fox hunt—complete with hunters, running hounds, horses, and trees. The border of the base platter and lower dome features a continuous grapevine motif, while the top lid is crowned with a raised starburst leaf design and finial.

• Maker's Stamp: Impressed stamp reading "TUNSTALL ENGLAND" on the underside of the plate.
• Color: Rare, deep Cobalt Blue ground with white stoneware relief.
