From the shelf in Grand-Poppa’s garage is this interesting curiosity: a wooden apothecary cabinet or traveling medicine case, appears to be mahogany wood. Perhaps made in the late 19th century or early 20th. The case comes with 13 small glass bottles, eight glass test tubes, a set of tiny glass vials with stoppers, some glass pipettes (a few with broken tips), and a variety of antique glass bottles including three indigo blue Vicks Va-Tro-Nol bottles, and ten antique glass Sofskin Crème pots with metal lids. Set also has some odd implements like a glass bottle holder and a screw jack. The bottles, test tubes, vials and other glass parts will require thorough cleaning before any reuse.
