Early 20th-century Bausch & Lomb Model C Balopticon manufactured in Rochester, New York.
The projector retains its extendable bellows, projection lens assembly, lamp housing, electrical cord and original fitted carrying/storage case. Manufacturer’s plate reads:

The projection lens is additionally marked Bausch & Lomb Optical Co., Rochester, N.Y. with serial number 3733952.
Also included is a vintage glass lantern slide titled “Bethlehemite Women.”
The Model C Balopticon was an early electric projection lantern designed for displaying photographic glass lantern slides and was used extensively for educational, institutional and entertainment presentations during the early 20th century.Condition: Antique condition with age-related surface wear, oxidation, scratches, finish loss and wear to the fitted case. Bellows show visible age/use wear. Electrical cord is vintage and should be professionally inspected before use. Operational status is currently unknown/untested.
