Antique C19th Silk Sash from Hyderabad, Pakistan For Sale

A rare and beautiful antique silk sash or belt from 19th century Hyderabad, or perhaps elsewhere in Punjab or Sindh of modern day Pakistan. Very delicate, intricately handwoven and with very vibrant colours.This is 2.5 metres long and 26.5cm wide when folded out. It is supposed to remain folded over width-wise, but have opened it for some of the photos.It comes with a coloured length of narrow flat cord, probably cotton, which I believe possibly belongs to it and might have been used to secure it around the waist. This is about 171cm long and has two knots in it which I have left knotted.There is some light wear in some places, and one end of the sash is a shade darker, presumably on account of it having been worn. The overall condition for its age is extremely good.
