Antique Cast Iron Mortar and Pestle in mint condition. It is marked on bottom 1 quart and another mark that i cant make out. (see pics) There is no rust or pitting .This is most likely from 1860-1880 vintage. possibly older. Have had it in my possession for 40 years. 5 3/4 inch diameter 3 3/4” tall pestle is8. 1/2” long number1512 in cast iron on bottom with Letter L and two other letters See pics.
