History
One sheath is hand-lettered "Mrs. O.R. Eichholz, Nachusa, Ill." Records match a woman of that name who was born in 1869 in Kosciusko County, Indiana, lived in Lee County, Illinois, died in 1966, and is buried at Emmert Cemetery in Nachusa. The link to the knife rests on the name and place on the sheath, so I can't say how long she owned it or whether it was originally hers or her family's. Just figured this was a cool story to have it adds a bit of history.
