A finely hand-painted Chinese porcelain tea bowl dating to the Early Republic period, probably 1917, based on the inscription “丁巳仲冬” (“Mid-Winter of the Dingsi year”).The bowl is decorated in the refined Qianjiang Cai (浅绛彩) style with a graceful phoenix perched among flowering wisteria, foliage and berries, accompanied by poetic calligraphy and a red artist’s seal. The painting displays the soft enamel palette and literati aesthetic associated with fine Early Republic Jingdezhen porcelain.The base bears the four-character iron-red mark:光绪年制
