This is a striking, matched pair of antique Chinese molded relief porcelain vases, meticulously crafted during the Republic Period (circa 1912–1949). Embodying the highly celebrated Wang Bingrong aesthetic, these vases showcase an intricately sculpted, high-relief three-dimensional scene featuring the classic imperial dragon and phoenix motifs. The vibrant polychrome enamels—rendered in vivid greens, yellows, and browns—stand out brilliantly against a rich, saturated peacock turquoise glazed biscuit background. Designed in the traditional hu form, each vase features elegantly flared rims, clean geometric lappet bands framing the foot, and stylized zoomorphic animal-head handles flanking the neck.
