These striking 6” × 6” glazed ceramic tiles feature a bold geometric composition in rich cobalt blue and seafoam green with a beautifully molded high-relief floral medallion in soft pink. When installed together, the design creates an elegant continuous decorative pattern that was popular in period fireplace surrounds, architectural friezes, luxury interiors, and Peranakan shophouses throughout Asia.
Original Japanese architectural tiles of this quality are becoming increasingly difficult to find, particularly as matching pairs. Condition
Good antique architectural salvage condition. The tiles display expected age-related wear from their original installation, including light edge wear, minor glaze crazing, and traces of old mortar on the reverse. The glossy glaze remains exceptionally vibrant with excellent color retention. No major cracks or repairs noted. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.
