Antique, hardcover decorative mid to late 19th century book with gold gilded, embossed and inset relief decoration and design to the front cover along also with black stamped design. Spine face also has gold gilded, black stamped and embossed design and text with back cover having embossing work and the outer page fore-edges being gold gilded. Exterior of the book is overall clean and well intact with minor age, use or shelf wear with minor rubs to outer corners and edges of the spine and boards as well as a few small and vague soils or very mild toning with the gold gilded and black stamped design still well intact and vibrant. Interior of the book is overall clean with some old ink stamps on some of the first front pages before the general text. Back endpaper has some minor tatter and at inside hinge endpaper gutters are black clothbacked bookbinder’s tape reinforcements. Book has only minimal age, use or shelf wear internally aside for the aforementioned like occasional small soil or toning with pages sturdy. Book’s binding is tight and well intact and the book is complete with all pages present and none coming loose, detached or missing. Book has no odors.
Book totals 491 pages, measures approximately 7 3/4 x 5 1/2 x 1 1/4 inches and weighs about 1 1/2 pounds.
