Up for sale is this gorgeous find; A beautiful, highly collectible Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) large master pitcher/tankard in the elegant "Athenia" pattern (also frequently referred to by collectors as "Reverse 44" or "Paneled 44").Manufactured by the United States Glass Company circa 1912, this stately piece features striking geometric panels, a heavily ruffled/scalloped rim, an applied C-scroll handle, and an intricate daisy/starburst floral motif.This specific piece boasts the rare liquid platinum/silver luster flashing along the ruffled rim and floral pattern, creating a stunning metallic contrast against the clear crystal glass.Size & Dimensions-

Overall Condition: Excellent antique condition with very minor signs of use/handling consistent with age.Glass Clarity: Beautifully clear and bright with no cloudiness, "glass sickness," or heavy scratching. There is, of course, a few bubbles, which is normal with blown glass, as this is mold-blown.Metallic Trim: The delicate silver/platinum flashing is remarkably well-preserved, bright, and intact, showing only minimal wear from previous uses.Structural Integrity: Free of any major chips, cracks, or repairs. The delicate scalloped rim and the sharp points of the hexagonal base are in fantastic shape.The photos just don’t do this piece justice and I’m nit physically able to give it a proper cleaning, but what I could do with a polishing cloth took most if the fingerprints, dust, and water spot cloudiness away.
