A rare surviving pair of antique Edwardian bridal shoes, dating approximately 1905–1915. Made in soft ivory-white kid leather, these elegant shoes feature beautifully constructed pleated silk rosette/bow ornaments across the vamp, softly squared/rounded toes, and graceful approximately 1 3/4-inch heels.
These are the kind of delicate white leather shoes that would have been worn with the long, high-waisted bridal gowns of the late Edwardian and early 1910s period. The elaborate silkwork on the toes is particularly lovely—the narrow pleats have been folded and layered into dimensional geometric bows that give the shoes considerably more character than a plain bridal pump.
No maker or size markings were found. Their construction and very small proportions suggest they may have been specially made or purchased for their original wearer, but there is no documentation confirming custom manufacture.
The soles are leather and show genuine period wear, making these an especially evocative survivor for an antique clothing collection, bridal display, museum or study collection, period costuming, or decorative wedding display.
CONDITION

The kid leather remains remarkably presentable, with scattered age spotting, discoloration and surface wear as photographed.
The silk toe ornaments remain intact and attractive.
The fabric piping/binding around the upper edge has detached along one side of each shoe and will need to be reattached if desired.
Interior shows age and wear from use.
Leather soles show wear consistent with having been worn.
Please review all photographs closely for condition, construction and antique details.
