Beautiful 19th-century French Louis XVI style cassolette urn. This exquisite decorative piece is crafted from solid white marble and adorned with finely cast gilt-bronze mounts. The body features an elegant pierced-bronze upper rim and classical foliate swags draped between prominent, highly detailed classical mask mounts.The urn is elevated on a striking tripod stand that terminates in stylized hoof feet. The legs rest securely upon a contoured white marble tricorn base featuring a central cast-bronze medallion ringed with a delicate beaded pattern. The underside shows authentic 19th-century period construction with a central threaded rod and individually attached bronze feet.
