Zell / Georg Schmider, Zell am Harmersbach, Baden, Germany, featuring the desirable molded dandelion pattern, form/pattern number 722.Dating to approximately circa 1910 / early 20th century, the plate features a rich salmon-coral glazed ground with a beautifully molded dandelion plant in high relief. Deeply modeled green serrated leaves surround a cream-to-yellow open flower, additional buds and graceful stems. Flowing molded scrollwork at the base and a softly scalloped rim give the piece a distinctly Art Nouveau / Jugendstil character.The reverse bears the molded/impressed G.S. Zell / Baden factory mark, along with the clearly impressed 722 pattern/form number and an additional factory mark.Measurements:
