Antique German China Head Doll 28\" Civil War High Brow Beautiful Dress Pretty For Sale

Antique German China Head DollCivil War-era style head, high brow, with black hair, blue eyes, and a few factory pepper spotsShe\'s very large, at approx. 28\" tall, with a china head and lower limbs; her body appears to be a vintage replacement and is softer-stuffed muslin and is hourglass-shapedShe wears a gorgeous handmade Victorian-style dress of olive green satin/taffeta-like fabric, trimmed in black velvet; it features a lot of ruching/gathers, and mutton-style sleeves; she also wears undergarments and her clothing is sewn onIn good condition for her age, just showing expected age wear, no cracks or breaks and because her clothing is attached I could not undress her for a more thorough inspection, but what I could see looked & felt fine, with no rips, stains or vintage odors; she has a few small hair rubs, but overall her hair paint still looks good and she has a very pretty, serene face--please see all of the photos for the best description of condition and appearanceAs she is pre-owned and pre-loved she is sold as is; she ships quickly and securely, very carefully packedPlease note: No doll stand is included--I don\'t have a doll stand for her large size and I show her in the photos basically tied to another, smaller stand, so the buyer will need to supply their own stand if they want to display her standing; she does sit well, though and also makes a great bed doll; at her large size, she makes a wonderful display doll for your collection of vintage & antique dolls
