Antique German KPM Porcelain Boy Double Basket Vase Figurine Applied Flowers
Beautiful antique German KPM porcelain figural double basket vase, featuring a young boy in period clothing seated between two large woven-style baskets.
The figure is exceptionally decorative, with delicate facial modeling, a pink cap, green hand-painted accents, extensive raised gold beading, and finely modeled basket texture. The base is embellished with dimensional applied porcelain flowers, foliage and branches, finished with a pink border and gold beaded trim.
The underside bears a blue KPM factory mark with crossed device, along with impressed/model numbers. Based on the form of the mark, this should not be confused with Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin (KPM Berlin), whose characteristic factory mark is the blue scepter.
Measurements: approximately 10.25" tall × 7" wide.
