The bottom is embossed “H.J. HEINZ CO. / 7 / PATENTED.” Heinz bottle research identifies the No. 7 as an early 8-ounce ketchup bottle associated with the Heinz Glass Factory in Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania. This style is documented as being produced during the late 19th to early 20th century.
This bottle measures approximately 8 inches tall and approximately 2¼ inches wide at the body.
Clear glass with an unusual early Heinz bottle shape and visible manufacturing irregularities. Bottle shows age-related surface wear, staining, cloudiness/residue and marks consistent with its age and being recovered from an old bottle dump.
No original label, cap or stopper is included.
