$100.00
Antique pair of J.H. Bunnell & Co. Type 2-2 telegraph relays. These 150-ohm devices are constructed with brass components on black bases. Each unit has dual electromagnetic coils and adjustable brass contact screws. The underside reveals internal wiring and terminal connections. Used in 19th- and early 20th-century railroad and commercial telegraph systems to boost or \"relay\" weak Morse code electrical signals traveling over long distance lines so they could operate local sounders or registers.
