Up for sale or purchase is a beautiful, vintage set of four (4) traditional Japanese Hina dolls (Hina-ningyo), traditionally used to celebrate Hinamatsuri (The Girls\' Day / Doll Festival) on March 3rd.This partial court arrangement includes the primary Imperial Couple alongside two court attendants/musicians:The Emperor (Obina) & Empress (Mebina): Seated in the rear, dressed in multi-layered silk brocade robes featuring intricate floral and geometric weaves.Two Court Attendants / Musicians: Positioned in the front, displaying dynamic hand poses meant to hold court accessories or musical instruments.Condition Details: The faces feature traditional Gofun paste (ground oyster shell coating), giving them a smooth, classic porcelain-like appearance.The clothing consists of gorgeous, authentic Japanese textiles with woven metallic threads.Please note: This is a vintage/antique set showing signs of history and storage.
