Antique Japanese cloisonné enamel cabinet plate or small charger dating to the Meiji Period (circa 1880–1910).
This beautifully crafted piece measures approximately 10 inches in diameter and features finely detailed cloisonné enamel work with a butterfly and attractive floral motif on the front and a decorative blue enamel spiral pattern on the reverse. The workmanship and construction are consistent with quality late 19th to early 20th century Japanese cloisonné.
