This very elegant antique Jardiniere is a stunning piece of French bronze and brass lattice ormolu mounts over a ceramic oval shape with acanthus leaf footed base.
The intricate latticework design in the style of Louis XVI combined with the unique aged bronze patina, giving it a timeless and sophistication look.
Handmade in France. Not sure of the age because it has no marks but probably manufactured in the early 1900s to 1940s.
Condition is very good for an antique piece. Has a little wear at the top corners of ceramic and a few small verdigris spots that are not very noticeable. See images.

Please note, the lattice made of bronze/brass and ceramic do not separate so great care needs to be taken not to get the metal part wet as it will easily turn a green verdigris. If quickly dried off this will not be an issue.
