A charming antique portraiture painting of a charming woman. This Mid-Late 19th Century original oil on canvas painting features a beautiful young woman dressed in a high neck black dress with a white lace/embroidered collar. Her hair parted in center and smoothly pulled back. She is posed in a formal yet gentle gaze, and adorned with earring and matching brooch. She sits in front of a dark background. The painting has a couple of patch repairs and is labeled with a few names in the back. No official signature found. Some surface condition issues on the bottom. We think the muted gold frame is perfect for it.
