Beautiful antique hand-painted Nippon porcelain vase featuring a continuous scenic waterside landscape with trees, distant shoreline, waterfowl/swans and aquatic flowers.The vase features a striking blue, lavender, pink and white ground with extensive gold detailing. Raised gold beading borders the scenic landscape, with additional gilding around the rim, base and two applied handles.The underside bears the green Hand Painted / M-in-Wreath / NIPPON backstamp associated with Morimura Brothers and early Japanese export porcelain. This style of mark is generally associated with the 1911–1921 Nippon period.DETAILS:
