Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible antique Dutch solid silver pocket petrol lighter featuring an exquisite, hand-chased repoussé/embossed Old-Dutch pastoral landscape. The intricate relief work beautifully depicts a traditional windmill, village houses on the shoreline, a horse-drawn cart, and figures rowing a small boat along the waterway.

The custom, form-fitting sleeve and matching friction-fit cap were hand-crafted by the celebrated Amsterdam silversmith P.J. Bierenbroodspot (active 1900–1946). The internal lighter mechanism is a fine example of early-to-mid 20th-century European engineering, featuring original internal factory assembly tracking marks (XII on the inner top cap and XIII on the inner bottom sleeve).
