Up for sale is an authentic antique Pre-1948 Mexican Silver Bird / Parrot Statement Brooch Pin.Era: Circa 1930s–1940s (Early Taxco Era prior to official alphanumeric coding and eagle assay stamps).Design Details: A stunning, heavy hand-wrought figurative brooch depicting a perched parrot or macaw. Features beautiful artisan hand-tooled feather textures, a realistic perched stance on a branch, and a genuine inset turquoise stone for the eye. The reverse shows an authentic hollow-backed, hand-hammered build.Hallmarks & Hardware: Stamped with a clean, incised \"MEXICO SILVER\" text mark centrally on the reverse. Features authentic early-period hardware, including a traditional joint hinge and an open, heavy C-clasp catch with an extended straight needle designed for thick vintage fabrics.Condition: Excellent antique condition.
