Description: This scarse print originates from: \'A New Universal History of the Religious Rites, Ceremonies, and Customs of the Whole World�\', by William Hurd, London, 1785.Artists and Engravers: Author: William Hurd. Engraver unknown. Some plates in this work after Bernard Picart. This plate is engraved by Robert Pollard (1755-1838) after Dr. Hurd.
Subject: Frontispiece (Title Engraving) to Dr. Hurd\'s Religious Ceremonies & Customs of All Nations. This engraving is a group portrayal of many religions and its symbols: Christianity, Budism, Islam, Judaism, Jewish etc., showing Moses, Abraham, Mohammed etc.
Condition: Fine; some light age related toning as usual. Occasional light spotting as visible on the scans if applicable. Carefully study our scans as they are a good enough quality to judge its condition. At your request we can remove staining with no extra charge.
Size (in cm): The overall size is ca. 22.5 x 35.5 cm. The image size is ca. 15.5 x 30 cm.
