This is an antique parlor game manufactured by the Fireside Game Company in 1896 called 'Our Union'.
The game consists of 52 cards, all present, divided into 4 books:A,B,C,D with 13 cards in each letter A-M. Each card has a different state map shown on it plus facts about each state.
The original bix is included, with the game instructions pasted to the inside box cover as Fireside often did to help keep the pamphlet from getting lost.
This is the only Fireside game with maps on the cards.
It is very historical and rare to find in such great condition. The cards are in excellent condition.
The box has some minor damage but no split corners and is structurally sound except for one side panel on the cover that is barely holding on. It still dispalys well, especially if placed in a protective case, as this would be advisable for a cardboard box this age.
