Beautiful antique Reed & Barton silverplate handled bride’s basket / serving basket, model No. 4073.
This unusual piece features an ornate raised swing handle with wonderful figural owl and floral panels along the sides. The round basket has an elaborate embossed floral and foliate border with a subtle engraved floral design in the center.
The underside is clearly stamped:

Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear. There is tarnish/patina, surface scratching, discoloration and areas of finish/plating wear consistent with age and previous use. The center floral engraving has become faint in areas. It has not been heavily polished. Please review all photos closely, as they are an important part of the condition description.
