This oval antique transferware platter is a unique addition to any collection. It features a rich brown transferware pattern called Indus in the Aesthetic Period design with birds, bamboo, flowers, and leaves.
Recommend for decor only- may not be food safe.
Maker’s mark: printed on back- Ridgways with bow & quiver mark. Diamond registration mark indicates 1881 production.
Noted Imperfections: perfectly weathered with heavy discoloration and crazing, one small chip on bottom left front, light colored scratches on front from use. No cracks.
