Slightly projecting lid with applied molding, dovetail joined case, molded base standing on turned feet. Oxidized bittersweet paint.... moldings and feet painted black. The initials and date are done freehand in gold paint. Gold stenciled ornament centers the walnut inlaid lock escutcheon. Retains key, overall good condition, very minor paint imperfections as shown; no restoration.
