Antique Thomas Buchanan Read? Oil Canvas Mythical Cherubs Allegorical Romantic:
$850.00
I did an AI search to see if I could compare it to anything and it told me it was most likely Thomas Reed. I have no idea if that’s true because there is no signature. It is extremely old and has some problems. First the gold frame is missing and appliqué from one of the corners. The painting itself is crazing from age and there are a couple holes that look as though they were fixed at some point. It’s really not horrible but it’s obvious. I would say it needs some cleaning to bring back some of its detail. I’ll leave restoration up to the new owner. It is an amazing painting.
