This is a very small step stool or footrest from around 1850 to 190 or so. Likely of English origin. It is guaranteed to be an antique item and NOT a modern reproduction.
This is a very small size, measuring only about 7 inches tall. It\'s about 12.75 inches by about 6.75\" on the top. As I mentioned, this could have been used as a small step stool, or perhaps a footrest back in the day. It isn\'t big enough to be a seat, except for maybe a small child.
Condition is very nice, with an original and honest patina of age that you would expect. This has a great look that no reproduction could achieve. Scratches, scuffs and wear are everywhere... and they all look great! The stool is solid and sturdy with no loose joints and no repair needed.
