Antique illustrated children’s reader or storybook, believed to date from the late 1800s to early 1900s. One surviving story is titled “Sanders’ Eagle.” The book contains old-fashioned printed text and detailed black-and-white illustrations on thick paper.
The original covers, spine, title page, and publication information are missing, so the exact title, publisher, edition, and date are unknown.
Condition: Very poor antique condition. Covers and spine are missing. Pages have heavy age toning, staining, writing, tears, worn edges, creases, and other damage. The binding is exposed, and some pages may be loose or missing. Please examine all photographs carefully. Sold as-is for historical interest, study, restoration, paper ephemera, or display.
This is an old original book, not a modern reproduction. You will receive the exact item shown.
This is a vintage piece and comes from my own personal collection or that I inherited from my mom. My Mom traveled all over the world and collected beautiful objects especially hand made. I hope you will cherish and enjoy her beautiful unique pieces.
